Pakistan is going to introduce international payment platform paypal
Pakistan is going to welcome again the international online payment methods PayPal and Alipay in the country in order to get paid from clients ordering outside of the country.
Business Minister, Khurram Dastgir Khan, has claimed that the government is working on the procedures under the supervision of State Bank of Pakistan, in order to introduce PayPal in Pakistan for better e-commerce business.
While on the visit to China alongside PM Nawa Sharif, Mr. Dastgir met Alibaba Group authorities at their headquarters to talk about one of the world’s greatest e-commerce platforms in the country.
Please note that this is not the first time when a priest has moved toward both the international platforms, Alipay and PayPal to give online worldwide installment.
According to a report, Pakistan is ranked 4th in the world for a number of freelancers, and they have no choice but to use either illegal or very costly methods for getting paid from foreign clients. Freelancers have been demanding the government to introduce PayPal for over 10 years, but there is still no confirmation to have these facilities for Pakistani freelancers
