The Ka’aba is the holiest site in the holiest city as Mecca is where Muhammad (SAW) was born in Quraysh tribe. The Ka’aba is a cube-shaped building in the city of Mecca and placed in the center of the earth.  An angel guided Prophet Ibrahim where to built the Kaaba then Hazrat Ibrahim and his son Hazrat Ishmael built it as a symbol of the house of Allah. When all Muslims prays Salat they keep their direction to Ka’aba no matter where they are. Millions of people come here every year to perform Hajj because it’s compulsory for every Muslim who can afford to visit this islamic holy place of islam

It is a belief that the Kaaba is the first area that was created on earth and the place at which power touch the earth directly as I mention it’s at the center or the world.

Do you know

It was not in a cube shape in starting, yes it was in a rectangle shape because when the Kaaba was rebuilt, the people of Quraish want to make it with their pure sources of income and not with haram money. At the time there was not enough money (Halal) to make it in the original shape and then Muhammad passed away so Calipha Abdullah ibn Zubair has remained the same shape that the Prophet saw it in his life

The Dome of the Rock was built 685–691 as a shrine for pilgrims on the location from where Muhammad ascended to heaven by buraq ( A creature from heaven who traveled like the speed of light) in one evening, Hazrat Gabriel (Angel) took prophet at Al-Aqsa from Mecca when he was taken to haven to meet Allah Almighty. the prophet met with previous prophets and they welcome him then he led them in prayer. Here Allah gave him nimaz as a gift

In starting the Prophet (P.B.U.H) was praying toward Al Aqsa because it was the first Qibla but the Jews were making fun of Al-Islam and saying that Muslims are praying & following us. Then in the middle of the dohor (afternoon prayer), Allah commanded the Prophet (P.B.U.H) to change their Qibla to Mecca in order to separate Islam from Judaism
